The Apocalypse Type IV iCCR (intervention CCR) combines the safety awareness of an mCCR and an automatic safety net, for diving to depths of 30msw on air, and 80msw on mixed gas, with dive durations of up to 2 hours 45 minutes (to NORSOK 2kPa Inspired CO2 limit).

This is a revolutionary product, offering:

• Extremely low work of breathing: it can meet the CE standards for work of breathing even at 100msw on air and at over 600msw on helium - this means at safe operational depths of 30msw on air, and up to 80msw on mixed gas, the work of breathing is simply not noticeable, in any diver orientation
• Automatic Bail out valve, combined with Automatic Loop Volume; the first ALVBOV. This is packed with safety features including automatic loop shut off if removed from the mouth, a mouthpiece retainer, diver display, voice annunciation of PPO2 and warning messages and RF link
• True retained CO2 monitoring, using end of breath direct CO2 measurement
• Uses 3 oxygen cells  to give redundency during a dive, with automatical cell test, such that safe operation and PPo2 monitoring is maintained even with only 1 good cell out of 3.
• Helium sensor, can be used to determine the helium content of the make_up_gas prior to diving as well as provide the diver with a narcosis alarm during a dive.
• Large colour AMOLED displays: superb contrast and clear information to enable your buddy to see any problem and assist.
• Easy to fit Micropore EAC scrubbers, free from risks of tunneling, dust as well as being flood tolerant
• Flood recoverable: even from a total flood during a dive.

The Apocalypse Type IV iCCR is supplied as a complete rebreather system: everything you need to dive it other then the user filling the included Oxygen Cylinder with Oxygen, installing the O2 cells (initially available through your instructor and once you are trained, from the OSEL shop ) and ensuring that the batteries are charged prior to diving.   Obviously generic diving equipment such as your exposure suit, fins, dive computer (Depth Timer and Tables) etc etc are still required to dive using this rebreather.  What is not included is a make-up-gas cylinder, bail out cylinder or suitable bailout regulator which are down to user choice / dive planning and are available from any dive shop if not allready owned.   Factory fitted options can be added to the basic iCCR package at additional cost, as can additional replacement EACs in boxes of 4.

Safety and Contractual Note: Training is essential to use rebreather products safely. To close out your trolley you will be presented with a contract that you will obtain training, as well as a liability waiver.   This product is built to order.
