Rebreathers ordered after 22nd Nov 2008 are not shipped with sensors because most divers will want the instructor to fit fresh sensors, rather than have the sensors eat up any of the guarantee period in a gap between them receiving the rebreather and receiving training.
The sensors are guaranteed for 3 months and have a 12 month life on issue by Open Safety. Sensors are a controlled supply item: see the description in Consumables.
