This is the development card for the Dive Computer, to allow third parties to add their own applications etc. The card comes with all compilers, software, diagnostic tools and 3 days of support - hence the price. The card operates with the CO2 monitor, PPO2 monitor, Dive computer , tank senders and heated suit controllers. Note: The dive computer is scheduled for retail release in Autumn 2010. The dive computer meets the EMI directive: http://www.deeplife.co.uk/or_files/EMCdeepdivecomputer.pdf, and is currently part of equipment being audited to EN61508.
